300mm Flat Truss is perfect in its simplicity. Whether you need some truss to create a grid in a studio, hang curtains or other items in narrow spaces in a theatre, or even just for decorative purposes, our flat truss has got you covered.

Our Flat Truss comes in standard lengths from 0.5m to 3.0m, however we can also customize the truss length to suit your individual needs. Each of the main chords is built with sturdy 50 x 3mm alloy tube, supported with 20mm oD x 2mm diagonal members.

300mm Tri Truss

300mm Tri Truss is probably the most widely used truss in Australia. With that in mind, Brown’s 300mm Tri Truss is designed to be compatible with industry-standard sections.

Perfect for general use over short runs (up to 12m spans), 300mm Tri is used for small to medium shows where roof height or sight lines are an issue.

Truss Cubes

For a quick, easy, and flexible corner solution for tri truss, look no further than our corner cubes.  Our six-sided cubes give amazing flexibility, being able to be mounted in any orientation to ensure your tri truss is always pointing in the correct direction.

300mm Box Truss

300mm Box Truss is a standard for many across the globe.  Our 300mm Box Truss comes in two variants – Standard Duty and the T2 Heavy Duty.  The Standard Duty is based on the same profile as our standard tri truss, but in a box truss format. Providing higher strength and rigidity with the same small profile it is the next step in light to medium duty beam systems. It is ideally suited to live production corporate events and exhibition work. By utilising the wide range of corners and standard section lengths available, any number of configurations and shapes are possible, providing the building blocks for a high strength structure, which can easily be tailored to suit both the scenic & rigging requirements of each individual production.

Our Heavy Duty T2 Box Truss takes all of the features of the Standard Duty box truss and increases its capacity. By adding plates for the interconnection, and increasing the density of the webbing across 3 sides, the T2 Box Truss can be rigged in almost any direction without compromising on structural integrity.

Corners, Cubes, and Curves

Our 300mm Box Truss has a wide range of corners, cubes, and curved sections available.  The standard range includes 4-way and 6-way cubes, corners from 45 to 135 degrees, and curves from 2.0m diameter to a 6.0m diameter.  The curved sections also come in 45 or 90 degree segments for ease of transport and design flexibility

400mm Box Truss

Brown’s 400mm Box Truss is supplied with our unique aluminium coupler joining system as standard, making it the most versatile truss in our range, and one of the strongest 400mm profile trusses available. Designed for spans of up to 12 metres, it’s perfect for large shows with lots of moving lights.
The coupler system adds strength and reduces set-up time. Corners and t-joints are also simpler and cheaper, thanks to the use of gates instead of complicated corner sections.

The 400mm Box Truss also forms the basis of our Multi-Function Tower, the truly versatile ground support system.

500mm Box Truss

Our 500mm Box Truss is a serious, heavy-duty truss. It’s designed for spans up to 18 metres, and is ideal for supporting big, heavy stuff like PA’s and video walls. It’s also great for use with the Multi-Function Tower to build cool ground-support systems and roofs.

Our 500mm box truss is supplied with plate joiners as standard, allowing it to connect with many industry-standard trusses already in use. It’s available in the following standard lengths, however we are able to manufacture to any size.

500mm Stacking Truss

Brown’s 500mm Alloy Stacking Truss is 500mm centre to centre on the bottom chords, and only 250mm centre to centre on the top chords. The bottom chords are braced using removable snap-lock bracing bars, allowing truss sections to be stacked one on top of the other, saving huge amounts of truck and storage space.

For example, 8 x 3 metre sections of the truss can be stacked on a dolly, with the total height being only 2050mm, and the width approximately 550mm (including dolly). In standard trucks, this would allow 4 dollys to be stored side-by-side, putting 32 sections of 500mm truss into only 3m of truck space!

Because it is so easy to transport, Brown’s 500mm Alloy Stacking Truss is perfect for small shows, but is also designed with large shows in mind. The enormous weight loading allows the stacking truss to be used for 18 metre spans while still supporting useful loads. Full engineering specifications are available upon request.

Setting up the 500mm Alloy Stacking Truss is a breeze. One person can wheel 8 sections of 3m truss into the venue, thanks to the dolly, saving time and your loader’s backs! Once it is in position, the bracing bars (stored in the top of the truss) can be quickly accessed and put into place. At the end of the night, the braces are stored in the top of the truss for transport.

The coupler system used to connect the truss makes setting up quick and easy, and no spanners are required. A full range of accessories including corners, gates, bases and dollies are also available.
